Scholarships
Saint Monica University System offers various scholarships. All admitted students can apply for scholarships at their respective campuses.
The first 100 students who apply for admission into SMU within 10 days of publication of the General Certificate of Education (GCE) Advanced Level results will automatically receive 50,000 Frs in scholarship. The good news is that this scholarship can be combined with any other scholarship being offered at SMU.
The late Professor Tanla-Kishani was the pioneer Chancellor of the Saint Monica University System. He was a philosopher, poet, scholar and polyglot. The scholarship is a celebration of academic achievement. This is for students who earn 20 or more points at the General Certificate of Education (GCE) Advanced Level and students who have earned a 4.00 GPA in the preceding academic year.
The purpose of this scholarship is to assist refugees and Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) achieve academic success. Those who have been forced to flee their homes because of the war in the Northwest and Southwest regions of Cameroon or foreign-born students who are officially designated as refugees should apply for this scholarship. A maximum of 50 students will be awarded this scholarship each year.
