Lefem Attracts International Scholars with Diverse Perspectives

Buea, Cameroon: Saint Monica University Institute (SMUI), a leading private higher education institution in Cameroon, today announced that it has published the second volume of Lefem: A Multidisciplinary Journal of Transformational Education. The journal, which is published annually, had its premier edition in 2023 under the leadership of Professor Stephen Fomin, Vice President of Academic Affairs at the university.

“Lefem is a peer reviewed journal and insists on the scrupulous respect of scientific norms and adherence to submission policy guidelines by contributors,” said Prof. Stephen Fomin. “It is published annually and accepts only original works that address clear issues and contribute to scholarship in transformational education. By transformational education, we mean the formation that makes the trainer an innovative inquirer and the learner an enterprising contributor as envisioned in the mission of Saint Monica University Institute, Buea. Our emphasis is on issues-oriented scholarship that addresses societal development in all its ramifications.

Saint Monica University Institute (SMUI), the American-international university in Cameroon, is a career-focused university that offers programs that are at the intersection of arts, science, and technology.
